Kozy Shak began as a holiday house warming party I threw in December 2006. Taking inspiration from the Norwegian term koselig, Kozy Shak, the event, celebrated the ultimate warmth that can be created in the home - both social and aesthetic.
Here, Kozy Shak is about the everyday things that inspire coziness – those things that bring comfort, warmth, and contentment in the home and surrounding spaces. What it’s not is a design showcase. Kozy Shak is meant to show the "lived-inness" of our personal spaces - how we arrange, curate and share our surroundings to make them our own.
