Since birthing a baby this spring, I've been feelin all fuzzy inside. I've also been spending many hours in the nursery. The nursery doesn't have one of these matchy-matchy themes though there are plenty of animal patterns and toys. A cozy nursery wouldn't be complete without something in my favorite material - wool felt. This German crafted wool felt ram and sheep are so perfect for my little Aries. Made by Steeda, you can find them at Kate's Paperie. They are designed to be wrapped around household or desk objects, like a desk lamp, but really they're just cute toys.
On baby's playlist are tracks from Fuzzy-Felt Folk (Trunk Records). This collection of odd and obscure children's songs has a dusty, far-out sounds and some of the songs are down right spooky. I've been told they're "too weird" for baby but one track definitely makes the cut - "The Elf" from the Barbara Moore Singers. See him hop. See him skip. See him jump. Rooound and arooound! Take a listen. If the album doesn't do it for you then maybe the cover will inspire you to do some felt crafting!
